 A LITTLE BIT OF BACKGROUND:

Jen is a Doctor of Physical Therapy from Regis University in Denver and holds a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology and Biology from the University of Miami.

Early in her physical therapy career, Jen received mentorship training in dry needling and the treatment of complex neuromuscular ailments and chronic pain. She has post-graduate training in dry needling, manual therapy and Functional Movement Systems. She is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association.

Jen feels strongly that a physical therapist plays an integral role in the patient's healthcare team. She believes the extensive time physical therapists have with their patients and their strong background on the human body, uniquely positions them as powerful patient advocates, educators, and liaisons within the medical environment.

On a personal note, Jen loves playing in the mountains and the outdoors in general. She enjoys trail running, skiing, hiking, cycling, and yoga in her free time. She participates in a variety of endurance races each year and has completed an Ironman and many half Ironman triathlons. In her past life (teenage and early 20 years), Jen competed nationally in equestrian show jumping.
